Our Kenny community is grieving deeply after the heartbreaking events that occurred yesterday. The pain, shock, and loss felt by families, friends, students, staff, and neighbors is immeasurable. We extend our love and support to all who have been impacted by this tragedy. In this moment of sorrow, we want Annunciation and the surrounding community to know that we stand alongside them and remain dedicated to working together for healing, peace, and safety in our city.
As we navigate the days ahead, we’ll continue to share opportunities for our community to come together in support. We encourage neighbors to contribute as well – whether by sharing details about local blood drives, community resources, or other meaningful ways to help. The Minneapolis Foundation has set up a text-to-donate option (text ACF1 to 41444) and will partner with Annunciation to ensure these funds reach those in need. Even in grief, we find strength in unity – may we continue to support Annunciation, Kenny neighbors, and all of Minneapolis with love and healing.
