What is Kenny PorchFest? The mash up of spring and community!
(And I am pretty sure we need a little bit of both of those things this year.)
Happening again this year on Thursday May 28 from 6-9 PM, Kenny PorchFest is
making a joyous return! But it needs some help from you. PorchFest relies on the
goodwill of neighbors offering their yards or garages or stoops to musical performers.
Really, a literal “porch” is not a requirement, but if you got one, we would take that over
for the evening too! Any flat area that can hold some lawn chairs or picnic blankets will
do, along with a willingness to treat your musical guests like they are family and be
welcoming to your visiting neighbors throughout the evening.
Think of being a PorchFest Host like someone bringing a party to your yard! PorchFest
works by performers signing up and hosts signing up, and I do all the work to connect
you together. You get to know some cool, local musicians and then simply kick-back,
and invite all your friends and neighbors to one of the best parties you have ever put on!
