The City of Minneapolis plans to start work on the Kenny Area street resurfacing project on April 5th. The first phase of work will be to remove and replace some of the curb and gutter and miscellaneous concrete structures on the project. Once that work is complete, and private utilities have completed work in the area, the city will resurface the streets. Most of the work will take place in April and May with the exception of the area west of the Susan B. Anthony School which will be delayed until school is out in June.
Please note that at times there may be no parking signs posted by the city in front of your home or business. This is necessary for us to complete the construction activities. Private utility companies may also be posting no parking signs on the project. Call the phone number posted on the sign if you have specific questions on parking.
These construction activities may cause you some inconvenience. Please be patient and understanding as the work progresses. Please check the web page for more information. http://www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/cip/2016/WCMSP-172444
